Metro Jackson Downtown YMCA Teen Sports Camp

The Metro Jackson Downtown YMCA Teen Sports Camp welcomed special guest Brett Campo, a former high school dropout who is now Mississippi's Dropout Prevention Ambassador. Campo recently graduated from Picayune High School with honors and is spending the summer visiting youth organizations to encourage kids to stay in school. (June 2009)

Simpson County Schools kicked off the 2008-2009 school year with exciting Destination: Graduation events at Magee and Mendenhall High Schools. All students were invited to participate, and the football stadium was filled with parents and community supporters.
